Project Overview

30 South Colonnade was acquired off market in May 2019 in a joint venture with Oaktree. The project involves the major refurbishment and repositioning of a highly prominent 300,000 sq ft office building in the core of the Canary Wharf Estate.

The striking reimagination of 30 South Colonnade – now known as YY London – will create a NIA 408,000 sq ft building that increases ground-level activation across the lower floors, provides 25% more office and retail space, articulates a bold new façade and avoids the need for demolition over water. Altogether, we will significantly improve the building’s relationship with the surrounding public realm and reduce the overall energy demand of the building by 62%, whilst avoiding demolition is estimated to save 10,260 tonne CO2e – equivalent to planting 51,300 trees.
