Solar Serena Sunrise marks the rejuvenation of a currently sheltered housing estate in Hornchurch that has surpassed its functional lifespan. This initiative is a pivotal component of the estate regeneration program executed through a Joint Venture collaboration between Havering Borough Council and Wates Residential.
Spanning a 2.6-acre area, the site is positioned to the southwest of Hornchurch, within close proximity to Harrow Lodge Park. The project’s eastern and southern perimeters are bordered by two-storey houses, while the western edge is oriented toward three tower blocks soaring up to 14 storeys in height.

The Nine Elms project for Telford Homes unfolded through two distinct phases. During Phase One, the primary focus centered on establishing the majority of residential buildings. Along South Lambeth Road, two modern mansion blocks crafted from red brick create a bold presence, enhanced by white terracotta penthouses that impart the impression of a miniature terrace of houses.
The ground floors of these blocks are brought to life with vibrant shops and restaurants. Adding to the architectural composition are two prominent tall buildings. The tallest, soaring to 35 storeys, aligns with the emerging scale on the opposite side of the railway viaduct. Simultaneously, its refined brick facade seamlessly integrates with the distinctive architectural character of Keybridge, and its massing gracefully steps down in response to the evolving context leading towards Vauxhall Park.

Situated along Marsh Wall on the Isle of Dogs, South Quay Plaza emerges as a key player in rejuvenating the venerable docklands encompassing Canary Wharf.
This versatile development comprises two structures: a towering residential edifice oriented towards Canary Wharf and a smaller counterpart to the south, seamlessly integrating with the Marsh Wall streetscape.
The latter encompasses retail spaces and a substantial new public plaza. In its previous state, the site was characterized by a hostile and densely built environment, creating both visual and physical barriers between Canary Wharf and the regions south of Marsh Wall.
