The White Collar Factory situated at Old Street Yard represents a courageous and innovative culmination of a comprehensive five-year research initiative by Derwent London. Positioned at the heart of London’s Tech City, this 16-storey tower stands as a focal point.
The architectural design includes a network of fresh alleys and passages that link a newly established public space to the tower, two preserved buildings, and three newly constructed structures, each ranging from four to five storeys. Collectively, these elements provide a blend of residential and incubator workspaces, contributing to the creation of a distinctive urban environment.

Positioned majestically overlooking Grosvenor Square in Mayfair, the renowned US Embassy building, a masterful creation by architect Eero Saarinen, stands as an iconic example of mid-century modernism contextualized within its era. Erected in 1960, this architectural gem has earned Grade II listing status.
Now, with the US Embassy relocated to new premises, the visionary transformation of this structure is underway, destined to evolve into a world-class hotel featuring restaurants and commercial spaces. The design philosophy revolves around preserving and enhancing the essence of its modernist roots while aligning with the client’s aspirations and requirements to ensure the building’s sustained relevance and success in the long term.
