Saw Swee Hock Student Centre
(New Student Centre - London School of Economics)

The new Saw Swee Hock Student Centre for the LSE is without doubt one of the most striking and complex brickwork buildings in London, with the complex shape requiring 43,000 special bricks in 88 different shapes.

The extraordinary angles and features in the brickwork are supported by a complex system of shelf angles and polished exposed wind posts which also formed part of the sub contract package. With the building occupying the entire site, the logistics were equally challenging.
